Angel Falls

Plunging from the summit of Auyán-tepui, Angel Falls (Kerepakupai Merú in the indigenous Pemon language) is the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall. The water drops 979 meters (3,212 ft) from a cleft near the summit of the tepui, with the longest single drop being 807 meters.

Named after Jimmy Angel, the US aviator who was the first to fly over the falls in 1933, this natural wonder sits within Canaima National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site spanning 30,000 square kilometers of ancient tabletop mountains and pristine rainforest.

Los Roques Archipelago

Los Roques is a federal dependency of Venezuela consisting of approximately 350 islands, cays, and islets. It's one of the largest marine parks in the Caribbean Sea, covering 221,120 hectares of crystal-clear turquoise waters.

The archipelago is renowned for its pristine coral reefs, white sand beaches, and exceptional conditions for kitesurfing, diving, and bonefishing. The main island, Gran Roque, features colorful posadas (guesthouses) and a laid-back Caribbean atmosphere untouched by mass tourism.

The Lost World

Mount Roraima

Mount Roraima is the highest of the Pakaraima chain of tepuis (tabletop mountains) and inspired Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novel "The Lost World." Its summit, approximately 31 square kilometers, features an otherworldly landscape of bizarre rock formations, carnivorous plants, and endemic species found nowhere else.

The tepui sits at the triple border point of Venezuela, Brazil, and Guyana. The 6-day trek to the summit passes through savanna, cloud forest, and finally the alien landscape of the plateau, where 90% of plant species are endemic.
